About Dr. Lance A. Markbreiter, M.D.

“To me, there’s nothing more rewarding than being able to help someone—young or old—regain their mobility after an illness or injury.”

Dr. Markbreiter’s commitment to his craft stems from his own athletic background in competitive sports. His passion for preventing and treating injury is clear in the wide breadth of certifications, fellowships, and leadership positions he holds in the orthopaedic community.

Why is it important to be certified by the ABOS?

The American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery Certification is the most widely recognized standard of achievement for orthopaedic surgery in the USA. Orthopaedic surgeons must complete additional educational activities and practices to maintain their certification, including a stringent peer review process of their recent performed surgeries.
